Forged in Metal, Found by Fate

Natalie and Vince’s love story began in 2015, on a warm summer night in Seattle (August 7, 2015 to be exact). Vince and his buddy Warren were downtown at the Moore Theater hoping to see Jason Isbell, but failed to snag tickets. Fate had other plans. Bummed but determined to make the most of the night, they wandered over to the Crocodile in search of live music. Once there, they struck up a conversation with Madeline, who told them her sister was performing that night. After slaying the stage with a totally cool metal band, Natalie stepped out to greet her sister, and in that serendipitous moment, she and Vince met for the first time.

Great Seattle Hotels:

The Edgewater Hotel: Historic and for the Views, a true Seattle experience (its bar is one of our favorite date spots) Close to Pike Place Market, the Seattle Waterfront and Sculpture Park.

Proximity: Still very close to all of the wedding action. A quick Uber ride to Natalie and Vince’s house and the wedding venue.

*Natalie and Vince would choose this hotel

Seattle Marriott Waterfront: Also for the Views, few blocks south of the Edgewater. Close to Pike Place, the Seattle Waterfront and Sculpture Park.

Proximity: Also very close to all of the wedding action, just a quick Uber ride to Natalie and Vince’s house and the wedding venue.

Closest Hotels to Queen Anne and Fremont:

MarQueen Hotel: Classic old-school speakeasy vibes. Built in 1918 as the Seattle Engineering School training auto mechanics to work on the Ford Model T, renovated as a hotel in 1998. Very centrally located.

Proximity: Walking distance to our house in Queen Anne.

The Maxwell Hotel: An eccentric pineapple hotel, with an amazing location! Only one block from Seattle Center (Space Needle) and near the best dive bar in Seattle, the Streamline Tavern.

Proximity: You could walk to our house in Queen Anne.
